Inaugural Tournament Raises $8,500 for Women’s Hockey

We are proud to announce that the first-ever Mern Coveny Memorial Tournament raised an impressive $8,500 for Hockey Canada's "Hockey is Hers" campaign. The team entry fees, individual donations, 50/50 draw, and silent auctions have all gone towards the funds raised.

The tournament was created in memory of Mern Coveny to continue her belief that girls and women should be supported at every stage of their hockey careers. Our collective accomplishments are something she would be very proud of. Tournament photos We have added a Gallery page to our website and a link to a Google Photo Album that includes the pictures taken throughout the tournament day.
